ARSAT is an Argentinean leading provider of telecommunication and satellite solutions services, and has a strategic role in the implementation of the State policies in matters of telecommunications, broadcasting and internet.
One of its main goals is to increase the satellite services, broadcasting and telecommunication presentations in the country, for public, private and government applications. Among the ARSAT projects, REFEFO (Red Federal de Fibra Óptica, Fiber Optic Federal Network) intends to provide the whole country with a fiber optic network outline. To make this possible, it is necessary to put the pretended web into use, which is where Hexacta comes in, by providing resources to test the different proposals of the route implementation suppliers.
WISIT is an event organized by Uqbar Project, a group of professors, researchers and students from different universities in Argentina who want to push innovation and spread the voice on computer science. The goal of the event is to create an opened space for communication, debate and students, professors, researchers and engineers interested in technology innovation and research.
