Hexacta in the Community

Back

“Hexacta in the community” groups together the set of actions undertaken by the company through its human capital to help improve the quality of life of the communities in which it operates, contribute to social equity and to environmental balance.

Our people are the engine of these actions, since the members of our staff voluntarily choose to be a part of this program by developing projects intended to satisfy specific needs of a non-profit organization, or integrating the committee that assesses the scope and impact of the presented projects, prioritizing the material and economic resources provided by Hexacta for this end.

The following are the projects achieved so far:

  • Education to Grow

We generated a suitable space for educational and sport practices in teaching centers for underprivileged children, in the neighborhoods of Santa Ana and Villa Luján of Pte. Derqui.

  • Huncal School

We donated a computer room for the School Nº 6 of Huncal (Loncopué – Neuquén), contributing with the technical and scientific education of the 130 children enrolled there.

  • "El Peregrino" Home

We donated a patient lift and orthopedic beds for the “Hogar el Peregrino” (Bahía Blanca), which provides housing, feeding and care for physically challenged children and elder people.

  • Ilúmino

We developed a website to publish a photographic record of Argentine communities that are socially and geographically isolated.

  • "Virgencita de Luján" kindergarten

We donated computers, monitors and a printer for this kindergarten and day-nursery that takes care of 75 children from 2 to 5 years old.

  • Multipurpose room for the Stella Maris Chapel

We built the roof of the multipurpose room, where different social promotion activities take place with the aim of helping families of the Sargento Barrufaldi neighborhood (San Miguel, Buenos Aires) to overcome extreme social situations, progress and emigrate from the most marginalized area of the neighborhood.

  • Natalí Dafne Flexer Foundation, to help children with cancer

We developed a website that can be periodically updated by the members of the foundation through a content administrador, without depending on external suppliers.

Technology & Solidarity

Through this program we seek to maximize the effectiveness and impact of the actions in the community by focusing in our field of knowledge: technology.

Given the need of non-profit institutions and organizations of acquiring hardware equipment, developing web portals, intranets, management systems, etc., we launched this initiative that provides specific solutions to these problems. In this way, by channeling our people’s concerns and capacities, we obtain excellent results in our mission of collaborating with society.
