Prior to founding Hexacta, Alejandro served as a consultant in McKinsey & Company. Since 1994, he worked for clients in Argentina, Brasil, Chile and Perú. In that time he was involved in several projects related to latest technologies, defining strategies and later implementing them.

His work has focused on the financial services, consumer goods and telecommunications sectors. Alejandro took part of the leadership team that created the Business Technology Office (BTO) in the Mercosur. Prior to McKinsey, Alejandro founded Quantum Consulting.

When he left Quantum, it had a team of 40 consultants and was the leading IT consulting firm in Uruguay. He has more than 20 years experience as a consultant for governments and private held companies.

Alejandro holds a degree in Information Systems Engineering from the University of the Republic at Montevideo, Uruguay.
