Buenos Aires, September 16th, 2019. As of today, Gabriela and Ever, along with their children, Thiago (5) and Ever (1), have a new home to live in the neighborhood of El Retiro in the city of La Plata.

This was possible thanks to 12 volunteers from Hexacta, together with the NGO “Un Techo para mi País” (TECHO) (A Roof for my Country), that dedicated their time to the construction of the house on September 14-15 of this year.

“For Hexacta, collaborating with the construction of these houses and helping the neediest families in the country will always be a great reward and an investment in the country we all want. Since its beginnings, Hexacta has been dedicated to the development and improvement of the quality of life of less fortunate communities, and it is for that reason that, year after year, we dedicate numerous efforts to make the dream of many Argentines come true,” states Luis Broeders, Project Manager and responsible for the initiative Solidarity Projects.

With this new construction, Hexacta celebrates 10 years of having started its work with TECHO. Since then, each year, the company has not only actively participated in the process of construction but has also donated economic resources and materials that have facilitated the building of more housing. So far, the construction of 24 houses has been realized, 12 of which have been built by Hexacta’s volunteers.

“We are not only focused on consolidating ourselves as a leading software development company in the region, but we also want to become a reference and facilitator of social change. We are aware of the social responsibility we have with society, so we are very committed to building these homes. We are very proud to be 10 years in this work, accompanying TECHO in its efforts to improve the lives of those who most need it,” Broeders concludes.

During these years, families from different areas of the province of Buenos Aires, such as La Matanza, Pilar, Escobar, La Plata, Ezeiza, Moreno, and Lanús Oeste, among many others, have benefited from this initiative.
