Software design patterns

On October 2nd and 9th, two Hexacta architects from our office in Paraná, Zacarías Ojeda and Emanuel Goette, were invited to lead a workshop on software design patterns to 30 students from the information systems major in the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos through our Hexacta Labs program.

Software design patterns are the skeleton of solution to common software developing problems, and they provide an already tested and documented solution to them. They also facilitate the reutilization of successful architectures and designs.

The Hexacta professionals started by giving a theoretical introduction on the subject that eventually lead to a more practical level, where the students were shown real life examples and how to utilize these patterns. They also debated the pros and cons of the utilization of these patterns and the different solutions.

Hexacta Labs provides students the possibility to experience the real software development industry through talks, workshops and courses. The main idea is to ease them into the industry by providing them with tools they will be able to use in the future.
